Trilogy, Sacred Ternary, Threefold Social Order: Kieslowski, Saint Martin and Steiner.

In the opinion of many Kieslowski has achieved a masterpiece in his trilogy (Movies: Blue, White, Red). But his legacy points to even more than the critics have unearthed. He has given an artistic rendition of Louis Claude de Saint Martin‘s intuition of the sacred ternary of liberty, equality, fraternity. In the philosopher’s time the reality of his insights could not be brought to fruition and only gave rise to their complete opposite. The materialistic times could not apprehend the distant ideals that no doubt Saint Martin himself only prophetically grasped.
